My style has evolved from 8 years of practicing and 5 years of teaching in Ashtanga yoga tradition across the globe. While being drawn to a rigorous dynamic yoga, I have always kept the focus on searching for the ways to make a wider variety of  yoga postures truly accessible  and safe for different body types, particularly those stiff and of restricted mobility. My inspiration on that search has been Maya Yoga, a beautiful blend of Iyengar and Ashtanga Hatha Yoga styles as taught by renowned yogis Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini. Enriching classical vinyasa method with the elements of Maya Yoga, made my practice and the practice of my students more personally relevant, effective, and safe,  irregardless of a body type. I still practice Ashtanga series as it is always nice to check with the tradition. In my teaching I strongly believe in the importance of vigorous work on yoga fundamentals, personal asana adjustment and balancing dynamic vinyasa with a steady focus on alignment.
